Sniff, cough, sniff

OK, so I am home sick today. I have a lovely bronchial cough and a fever. Just to make it more fun it is supposed to get up to 31° today. This is going to be a very sweaty day.

Making the most of a crappy day

I've been poking around at flight information to NYC. It looks like it's going to cost me about $600 (Canadian) for a round trip ticket from Vancouver. That's better than I was expecting. It would be somewhat cheaper to fly round trip from Seattle, but that is just a huge bloody hassle, especially since most of my friends don't have cars and I am not going to spend eight hours on a bus (four there, four back) just to save $180.

So this is what life is like with a steady income? Cool.

I guess I am feeling well enough to go back to work tomorrow. I certainly can't afford another sick day, so it will be pseudoephedrine hydrochloride and Fisherman's Friend to the rescue.
