Playing "Meet the Press" Yet Again

Last night I got a call from the Langara Voice and ended up doing another interview on everybody's favourite question, "what is goth?" I have a sneaking suspicion that this one will be the best one yet-- it's  a sad state of affairs that I have more faith in a student paper than the mainstream press...

Well, look at that

This is Gothic.bc.ca's bandwidth for this month so far. The four-day spike is the days the press and police were all over the site. Look at the difference turning off the gallery on the evening of the 11th made to the bandwidth. The 4th and 5th would normally have been the busiest days with the usual Sin City-related peak in traffic. The 21st is the day I put a few pictures back up. Is it any wonder why I shut it down for a while? The same sort of thing happened with my personal site with my name splattered around the papers as well.  I've just got an itty-bitty pipe here and I already regularly exceed my allocated bandwidth. Bandwidth surcharges are not in the budget.
