Now here is something unusually accurate I have never seen in any period piece before: a carriage travelling late at night in late 19th century London going past an enormous pile of what I presume is meant to be horse shіt. With tens of thousands of horses on the streets the routine collection and disposal of manure was a staggering task. This is so routinely omitted that it's never considered or noticed, I'm very curious to see why it has been included.
