All the radical abstraction of the early to mid 20th century is about fixating on part of how a painting is made. Most of the time is spent thinking "this is darker than that", "this is just over to the left and a little below that", etc. but not in literal words. Writing words to describe not thinking in words, just seeing, is inherently a tautological antithesis. #process #painting #acrylic #acrylicpainting
