Cheer up Mike, things seem to be going better for you recently. You shouldn't be depressed. Compared with previous times, you know you've been through much worse.

Actually, just realising I'm in the middle of one of my cycles cheered me up immensely. Now I'm on my way to doing something about it and moving ahead. Stupid thing about this pattern is I never notice it happening until I'm part way through it.
