The bus driver just made a wrong turn. He started going back the way he had just come. Clearly the guy is no more alert at this moment than any of the people snoozing on the bus right now, trusting this guy to safely get us all to where we want to go.

LOL!
That's hilarious! It's never happened to me before (though it would make a strange excuse for coming into work late!)

And how else could you have gotten us an immediate update without your handy dandy little toy? ^_~

It was bizarre. The bus stopped at the Phibbs Exchange and then instead of taking the exit to cross the bridge he started going out the way to drive back up the mountian. Somebody up front said something and he stopped and backed up. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever been in a transit bus while it was backing up before.

It wasn't exactly inspiring in confidence.

it really sux when the driver does that on one of the trolley style buses... can't just turn around, has to do an 8 block detour...

it didn't instill confidence in me either come to think of it...

I always love it when the bus goes one way and the poles go another.

once on a bus I pulled the ringer before my stop, but the driver just kept going and I went up to talk to him but he was talking with another passanger so I was like 'let me the hell off this bus!' we had gone 4 stops past the point I wanted to get off at! He just looked at me and said 'why didn't you pull the ringer?' and I told him I did and he said 'well obviously not cause I have super hearing' ugh I had to walk back to my house(which was at least a 30min walk) that was the last time I took public transit in this city

time to sell the rocco

I never mentioned the morning the bus broke down beside Pigeon Park. I so love transit.
