Again ... great use of colour, lighting and focus .. but I would crop just a little off the right side to preserve balance of the image - I like the way you have the rear horse framed and draw attention to it. I would also pull back just a little to reveal a hint of the top of the black horses head and to avoid cutting off the brown horses ears to preserve continuity of the backdrop and the spacial placing within it and the framing of the brown horse.

But I do want you to know - to each his own- I could be full of shite- don't listen to me
follow your own eye and instinct. I am just givin my opinions. Hope others will too.

No worries. Trust me, after six years of art school, I can take a critque. I'm with you on this one. Of these four, strongest to weakest I see: #3, #4, #1, #2.

For the most part I don't see any of this as particularly great, just a little above mediocre. It's a way to do *something* while I don't have time to paint.
