evilyn13 just dropped me off at home after a fine day of birthday indulgence. I met tnkgrl and sleeplessnight at Taf's for coffee and lunch. I so miss Myr. I miss all my freaky friends. I'm quite convinced (but I'll wait until I'm sober to make a final determination) that I have once again overcompensated into the realm of the white picket fence. Mike and I went off to Golden Age afterword, where I picked up the latest GloomCookie [incidentally, I'm having a fuck of a time typing correctly. This is an effort] after which we went to Vancouver's original Starfucks location for further caffeination. I used to go to that locale when Dianna and I were jewellery vending. It was a touch odd being in there. Then we headed to the VAG. I was surprised Mike was willing to hang out. We were there for hours. I drew some studies from a Frida Kahlo and a Georgia O'Keefe, as well as some sketches of the hall were the keep the Ken Lums and the hall where there are a number of Emily Carr charcoals. It felt good to be doing something arty. It felt even better to have some drop-dead babe in the gallery checking me out 
. Then Mike and I met Trish on the back steps of the gallery before heading to Death by Chocolate.. Jeez. I'm hosed and exhausted. I have pictures from the Seabus on the way to town, my sketches from the VAG, pix from DbC, DV8, and Skuz to share. I'm too tired to do all this right now. Tomorrow morning. For now, thanks to
sleeplessnight, evilyn13, alois, heythats_mybike, kitsune_13, langsuir, mediavictim, sandmandream, saturn13, saturnina, strawberrygrl23,the_sebadoh, tnkgrl, uberbabe, dream_king, urbancreature, seymour_glass, the_troll, as well as the non-LJ people, Mel (Oh, so especially, Mel... *sigh*), Isis (who is also sighworthy), Opulence, Ztargazer and everyone else for making this a great birthday. It kicked ass. Trish gets bonus points for getting my nic up in lights. I can't wait to see Nic and Sandi's embarrassing pictures of me. Everyone who got me presents, I'm thrilled by your thoughtfulness. Mel, I hope you'll pardon my drunken candour. Everyone, I love you all. I feel like the king of the word thanks to you all. What else could one ask for on one's Death Day?bitogoth, I'm sure if you could be here you would have been every bit, if not more, wonderful. And thank you for all your good advice and for housing me on my trip. Send renewed thanks to Michele for her hospitality as well. No finer group of friends and acquaintances could one wish for.
