I've got a ton of stuff to do both at work and a "home", but I'm severely lacking the motivation to do it all right now. I've actually gotten a fair bit done this week, but things are coming in faster than I can get them done and of course everyone wants their thing first. In the big picture that is a good thing, but I just don't have the energy for it right now. There are altogether too many things to do regarding the move and the fact that being at home bites isn't helping me get those things done. I need to pack, change over phone, hydro, and all those other annoying things that I just don't want to deal with. And as I struggle to face them I get distracted from my work and it piles up even more. So rather than get anything done I need to, I find myself going off on tangents and doing completely useless things. I know what I need to do. I need to buck-up, quit wasting time and worrying about other people, get it all done and relax later.

just call me dr. phil!!!

well i think the key to being productive is enabling yourself to do 100% of what you can at that time...some days that is tons, others it is very little...but if you get done as much as you can for how you feel then you've accomplished enough to give yourself credit for...i think you're right in focussing on yourself and doing what you need to do...others can look after themselves for a while...sometimes we have to get our house in order first...prioritizing always helps, some things can be put off...just don't be too taxing on yourself...it's all about balance, relax when you feel the need and you'll be thankful for it later...it's funny in that i wouldn't be thinking about any of the moving stuff until the last minute, but that's me...ha ha...
