Let's start with something stupid

In a small font, "Burn fat" looks like "Bum fat."

Well, all my stuff is here in the new place except for my computers. I didn't want to move those until I was sure my connection here was working. Telus of couse was doing their usual SNAFU routine. I think the highlight was the repair man calling me on my line, which had been dead. After a short discussion we agreed that someone must have fixed it (duh!). Upon getting a dialtone I plugged in my DSL modem and it got a connection, so I will be going to get the computers tonight. There is going to be weirdness involved in that, thanks to an innocent doodle kitsune_13 drew on the driveway with a bit of sidewalk chalk that was lying around. All my information is second-hand, so I don't really know what is going on.

The move did, however go really well. cheaza gave me a hand on Saturday with my clothes and some other things I moved in the car. Sunday, having all been at The Three Muses housewarming evilyn13, seymour_glass, kitsune_13, langsuir, and ladyvermath all came out to load up the truck. When we returned opulence_9 and Rob joined in the fun. In the end everything got finished by 3:00 p.m. as I had hoped. Of course now I am in a sea of boxes, but I'm making headway. There is more to this story, but I must get my desk sorted out before I go get the computers so it will have to wait until after that is all done.

Mugh. Too much to do....
