Let's start with something stupid

In a small font, "Burn fat" looks like "Bum fat."

Well, all my stuff is here in the new place except for my computers. I didn't want to move those until I was sure my connection here was working. Telus of couse was doing their usual SNAFU routine. I think the highlight was the repair man calling me on my line, which had been dead. After a short discussion we agreed that someone must have fixed it (duh!). Upon getting a dialtone I plugged in my DSL modem and it got a connection, so I will be going to get the computers tonight. There is going to be weirdness involved in that, thanks to an innocent doodle kitsune_13 drew on the driveway with a bit of sidewalk chalk that was lying around. All my information is second-hand, so I don't really know what is going on.

The move did, however go really well. cheaza gave me a hand on Saturday with my clothes and some other things I moved in the car. Sunday, having all been at The Three Muses housewarming evilyn13, seymour_glass, kitsune_13, langsuir, and ladyvermath all came out to load up the truck. When we returned opulence_9 and Rob joined in the fun. In the end everything got finished by 3:00 p.m. as I had hoped. Of course now I am in a sea of boxes, but I'm making headway. There is more to this story, but I must get my desk sorted out before I go get the computers so it will have to wait until after that is all done.

Mugh. Too much to do....

I had to speak with her last night. She is in a very, very bad mood. I had some problems with my ADSL (the modem I bought turned out to be a dud) so I couldn't go get the computers last night as planned. I'm going to have to wait until Wednesday night.

oh, i am soo glad that that is over for us....i don't envy you but i am so glad the move is finally done...slowly but surely you will make headway through the sea of boxes...and thanx for coming out on saturday ;)

I'm making pretty good progress. Taking two days off after the move was a good idea. I think, however, it will take me a somewhat longer to stop being embarassed about certain drunken blurting.

michael, i really loved your last post, i think it is really empowering to be able to actually tell someone that you are interested in them, god knows that i couldn't do it...(i am sooo incredibly shy) and who knows how many missed opportunities have slid right by me for my lack of ability to be able to communicate my interest to someone...i truly think that you should live life with no regrets..and at the very leaast this way you wil never wonder 'what if'...
