Crazy Old Man

Yes, it is official. I am a crazy old man living in a burnt out apartment block with my cats. I'm exhausted right now. I had planned to go to Skuz tonight but I just don't want to leave my apartment now that I am finally home. I exhanged the defective space heater for a good one which is pumping out the BTU's as I type this. The oven is on for an extra kick of heat to get things going. I really don't care that the radiators aren't working. I don't care that it is Goth Christmas (I was out last night, and I will be out again tomorrow). I'm just home.

I'm plotting good things for the one person who really, really came through for me in this, earning a few more bits and peices along the way. Now that my touchstone, my anchor, my home has been restored it's time to recharge and show her how much this has meant to me. I'm too much of a zombie right now to get into it, so I'll just make a sappy country music reference... I can be the strong one most of the time, but once in a while when the rug gets pulled out from under me I need

...two arms to cling to
And something warm to come to
When nights are cold and lonely
