I love my job

Because I took the last two weeks off I only just got my Secret Santa gift and Christmas bonus today. My Secret Santa got me Guinness and coffee, which would have been enough to leave me in a good mood all by itself, but then there is the bonus cheque:

After tax my bonus comes to $1,601.70 - just enough for two round trip tickets to New York!!!

it's nice to know there are still some private companies out there who value their employees and the efforts and sacrifices those employees make for them...not many companies even give christmas bonuses any more, so it's very laudable that some out there still do...and guiness and coffee would make anyone happy...ha ha...

woohoo! that's awesome, i am trying to convonce the man that next year instead of buying eachother gifts for the holiday, we should both save up our money and go somewhere nice and warm and spend some quality time together, that is, if i decide he is still worthy after all that time :P
