So it happened again last night. Despite drugging myself with Contact-C and Nyquil I still woke up after about three and a half hours sleep. I managed to approach sleep a few times, but never really got there. I'm not quite as messed up as I was yesterday and came into work. I can't operate like this. I had wanted to go check out Kim's new night at Atlantis tonight, but I won't be doing it in this state. I'll be lucky to make it though the workday without little square divots in my forehead.

I managed to sleep yesterday morning and felt fine in the afternoon. My body seems to be rebelling against standard hours and I'd be doing fine if I could get one 3-4 hour nap in the evening and another 3-4 hour nap in the morning. Regular working hours make that impossible, though. It's times like this were I miss pure consulting. Mind you, I don't miss the erratic income and having to khow-tow to moronic clients when pickings were slim.

I'm convinced that my problem is stemming from insufficient exercise. When I was walking to and from work when I was living where Nick and Sandi are now, I was much more energetic. Even the hike to the bus in North Van had it's merits. There are disadvantages to living a block from work. So, starting today, the elevator at work is off limits. I'll feel better when walking up to the 11th floor ceases to be difficult. Right now it feels just about as difficult as the walk to work was when I first started doing it.

And, no. I have no intention of attending the human gerbil cage across the street.

Good Idea... the human body is smarter than we thought

Energy comes to those who can show the human body it will
use it properly and not waste it.

It is now wednesday ... you're 1/2 way though the week
my suggestion ... exercise to the point of exhaustion
jog , lift things.. even (cringe) drop into that fitness world
... just punish your body)... better yet...Go to kims
night tonight and do not leave the dance floor for any reason.

I found that sleep after extreme exercise is completely relaxing, tension releiveing , stress reliveing.

Babies don't sleep that well.

Rowr!
