Is this necessary? Do we really live in a world where people have difficulty using ladders and ladder manufacturers must hide behind illustrated instructions in order to protect themselves from those who would sue for having fallen off said ladder? Are people that stupid even literate enough to read the instructions on the ladder? Given that people don't bother reading instructions for just about anything else does this mean there may be a niche market for ladder consultants?
