Go Canucks, Go (Away).

I haven't watched a hockey game with such interest since I was a kid, but for the first time in a long time I really cared about the outcome of last night's game. As you can see from the timestamp on this I'm up early this morning. I have to work in Williams Lake today, which means being at the airport round about the time I would normally just be getting up. The prospect of yahoos doing their thing until 2 a.m. last night had me glued to the T.V. during the third period, rooting for Minnesota. It was pretty tense there for a while when it looked like the Canucks might tie it up and take the game into overtime. That would have been hell. An overtime win would have meant not only yahoos, but extra-excited yahoos off to a late start. As it happened, however, the Canucks lost by one and finished off the game with an utterly disgraceful lack of sportmanship. For the most part the yahoos skulked quietly home, with the minor exeception of one small band of wandering drunken idiots that blustered their way by quickly enough around 1:30 a.m. and I got a decent night's sleep.

It is supposed to be partly cloudy today (although at the moment the sky is clear blue). Hopefully today I'll be able to get some good aerial pictures from the jet :-)

though i am an athletic supporter for the canucks i find the one nice thing when they lose is that i don't have to hear the idiots driving up and down robson honking all night...it is really tiresome...unfortunately it just makes the series longer, so i'm sure we're in for three more nights of yahoos...

Tee Hee hee, thats funny! I didnt have to watch the game to know they lost, instead I got to bask in the "OHHHHS,AWWWWS boo hoo our team lost" that echo'ed around the neigborhood. Oh well, the sad fans probably spent the rest of the night driving up and down davie street yelling "Faggot,freak!" letting off all their anger and resentment.
