I received this lovely bit of fraud today:
Dear Paypal Member,
At Paypal Member's Database happenned refreshing. That's why Paypal Members must fill form to transfer to new database. If you don't fill the form in a month you can't do anything.
Please Fill Form with clicking link :

http://www.xxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx/activate
-------------------------------------------------

(Note: This system is made to prevent Fraud)

Paypal Home Page: http://www.xxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx or http://www.paypal.com

Sincerely,
Paypal Customer Department
If the Yoda-like English on the spam wasn't bad enough the fraudulent site itself bore the disclaimer:
After all information would be full and verify this would be controlled in 24 hours and your account would be refreshed in our database.
I especially like the "This system is made to prevent Fraud" which also appears on the website.

Despite an inclination to let anyone illiterate enough to fall for this fend for themselves, I did report this to PayPal and the upstream ISP of the fraudulent site.

Maybe you should alter your paypal member ship and let him defraud you. Looks like he needs the money for ESL lessons

I love Engrish and Chinglish

Maybe I should try

"Hey Joe American

My name is Mr Ling
I am embassador to China
I try escape communists
I have many good dollars
I give you long time
I need American account number

reply for good riches "

I hear that eBay is being hit by similar types of fraud.

I think in the past year, I have been contacted by every relative of every deposed/former African dictator with offers of free kickback money.

My personal favourite line in Chingrish is taken from The Simpsons... as said by Krusty: "Me rika flied lice"
