It's 3 a.m. Eastern Time, we got up at 8 a.m.. My sinuses are in rough shape. I thought my head was going to explode when the plane was landing in Vancouver. Must sleep now, I have to go to work tomorrow morning. Given the way my head feels I may not stay long, but I should at least make an appearance.

Actually I'm feeling much better today, thanks. I'm still stuffed up, but not so much that I would ordinarily take a day off. But, cripes, I thought I was going to lose an eardrum while the plane was landing.

I'm still a bit ill too, although not as bad as you have been lately (obviously). I guess I'm being a bit of a wimp having taken today off... and once again, I'm starting to feel that martyr-like guilt I get whenever I take time off work ("I should be there, they can't get by without me!" - yeah, right). Frankly I NEED this day off just to clear my head and come back down to earth: "I need home for a rest" as they say. The thing is, I'm not getting much rest because I keep thinking of things I should be doing. Dammit.
