I'm tired of being lied about

After months of things becoming increacingly unlivable, I made the decision to break up with Ivana shortly after my birthday. Of course I couldn't do it in front of the kids and it wasn't until August 25th until it was "officially" over. I didn't kiss Elaine until the following weekend, when I was blowing off steam at Sanctuary. We didn't have a date or start seeing eachother until October after I had moved into the new apartment.

i figured she may have said something to you today that pissed you off when i saw you storm up the street. that pisses me off too cuz it was one of the few nights i was able to make it out to skank that you would have been able to make it out for too :(

I was, and remain, furious. She's done nothing but meddle since day one and I have grown to genuinely hate her. Real, full blown, "Gee, she got hit by a bus? Good." hate.

All I can say is this... Anybody who's not an asshole will not cast you aside based on gossip... Continue to be you, and be a good person and it all works out. That's what I've been telling myself for the last few months.

Also, I'm sooooooo looking forward to coming for Pre-Sin City Drinkies with you all again!!! Now to get my outfit together...

and as for gossip and having been the subject of gossip before, I know how it can sting and hurt like hell and to this day don't understand someone's reasoning and pleasure in spreading it. Like D said, the best thing is to be yourself and it will always work itself out.
