Nah. Just a regular CRT. Flat panels that can do resolutions over 1024 x 768 are still freaking expensive. This monitor, however, was cheap like borscht. My old one, which was over five years old was starting to I'm-about-to-die twitch.
i've had mine for just over six years i believe and it still seems to be going strong...it's a viewsonic p775 and was $900 when i bought it...i guess one of these days i'll have to upgrade and get a bigger one...
