WTF?

For some reason Gothic BC has a huge spike in traffic on the 16th of August, about six times the normal number of visitor sessions. Just for the one day. Strange.

It wasn't like that other time with the giant pictures. This wasn't a spike in bandwith use, just a really unusual number of visitors. I average about 300 visitor sessions per day and on that day it shot up to 2000, about 1400 of those were unique. Basically over 1000 people looked at that journal entry on the first day, many of them more than once. It tapered off pretty quickly over the next couple days.
