I've got my S2 layers doing what I wanted, minimally. My comments pages are finally in line with the rest of my journal and website, which pleases the purist in me. On the surface it looks like a pretty standard "Punquin Elegant w/ Sidebar" layout. My tweaks are all pretty subtle. That's not to say they were all straightforward or easy to do. It's all about little details, which is also why it isn't really finished. I'm not happy with the calendar tables on the archive page and I want to embed the navigation bar from my website directly in the pages to I can dispense with the frameset on my site.
