Hallowe'en Lights

Weee! Fun! Elaine and I put up our Hallowe'en lights today:

These are the pumpkin lights. They were left behind on the balcony rail here after the fire last year. This is the first time we've put them up.

These lights are my old string of skeleton lights. I've had them for a years. I originally got them when I lived in Gastown. Later I used to have them strung around my "Meet Jack" Nightmare Before Christmas poster year-round when I lived at 6th and Granville. When I moved here I had them up in my window at the time of the fire, but some of the skeletons got broken in all the moves. At either end of the string are a couple of these really old vampire-head lights that Elaine has.

That's very possible if it was the block between Bute and Thurlow. That's my commute.

We like it. It's our little Edwardian island (http://www.livejournal.com/users/mbarrick/402156.html) (the little red brick building lost between the skyscrapers near the center of the frame).
