I've thought about getting a remote control car just to mess with the cats for some time, this has the added bonus of cleaning up their fur at the same time.

i saw it on the news the other day and i laughted...you can get them in vancouver...though they recommend you don't leave dogs in the room with it 'cuz it might drive them nuts...it's pretty cool though...in it's mindless own way...

I'm sure the cats would freak out, but they freak out over the normal vacuum. That's actually kind of a plus >;-)
