Yeah, there are lots of windmills in the country around New York - which of course was orignially "Nieu Amsterdam" ;-)

Funny thing is the old Dutch influence still shows in New York society, too. Take the Vanderbuilt family for one example... there are a lot of stinking rich old families that started out as farmers. Imagine what owning a few douzen acres of Manhattan would be worth as the city grew.

me a rebel much to my kin's dismay but I get along great with those who stayed in the netherlands...
besides I'm a half breed and I was born in canada I just grew up elsewhere :P
