My cyber-stalker posted again. Another useless clue. Apparently I took her to the Smash! Gallery in "a blue station wagon". Well, I still have that blue station wagon. I've had it since Christmas Eve 1989. The Smash! closed sometime around 1994, so this is somebody I took to a gallery while I was in art school. That doesn't really narrow it down much. The best clues are the ones that aren't meant to be clues. It dawned on my this morning that it could be an old pen-pal that lived in Richmond that I dated for a while when I first moved to Vancouver. Fortunately I am a pack-rat and I dug through my old letters and the style of writing matches, complete with the lack of capitols. Even better, in digging I found a letter from the psycho and, well, she used capitals and the right "your". Even better pen-pal girl's letters mention her being a big fan of 12-Midnight. I gave her a small painting while we were dating so it's not weird for her to remember me presuming she still has the painting. It all adds up. Not the psycho! Marian was actually pretty cool, just not my type girlfriend-wise. *Phew* Major relief.

Good for you, awesome that it's not the psycho, though it seems I may have my own internet weirdo on my hands. Don't know for sure yet, but we'll see... a few posts this week made me go "oh oh.." Maybe I should forgo posting in communities from now on..

Yup. She identified herself. It's still not wholly creepiness-free — but at least it isn't dangerously creepy.
