Christmas Cocktails

The cocktail party last night went very well. Quite a few people showed up and it got pretty crowded. I didn't get many pictures of all the guests enjoying themselves because I ended up too busy tending bar - the Bolivian Marching Martini was a big hit and I dare say I perfected the recipie - but those that I did are up on Gothic BC. I learned a few new cocktails such as the Tara O'Hara, which I found quite nice, and am itching to learn more. However, trying to pour absinthe after too much agwa prooved interesting and I'm surprised I managed not to set myself on fire. The kitchen floor looked a little like the bathroom floors in the old Twilight Zone this morning (OK, that's a huge exaggeration, but still, it was gross). On the plus side Elaine's mystery gift is coming in very handy today — it was a counter-top dishwasher. There are a lot of glasses to wash today. And I have to vacuum. I suppose I should get to it...

I don't even think you were here yet when I took the pictures. It was pretty early on.

I guess i don't count for anything. I wasn't invited and i was always
nice to you. i guess i am to lame for you guys not cool enough.

I had no means to invite you. I don't have your e-mail, no phone number, and no LJ account to add to my friends list. There are people who read my journal that I genuinely don't like and without a private way to contact you there's no way I can post an invitation to you without inadvertently "inviting" people I *really* don't want to invite.
