The official line is that the brunt of the joke is the president of the company, not the president of the United States. Suuuuure... and I have a lovely gothic-revival bridge in New York for sale, cheap... The last three lines of the French "washing instructions" read: "We're sorry our president is an idiot. We didn't vote for him."

Damn, that's great! I'll have to check my Tom Bihn bag at home tonight but I don't think it has french washing instructions with coded messages since I got it the US...

Apparently they use the same tags North America wide and plan on continuing to use it until they run out of the current batch. If you got the bag recently there is a good chance that it will have the tag!
