It's my least favourite weekend of the year. The Sun Run is happening. What about running for charity requires "The Chariots of Fire" theme to be played in a loop and an MC babbling in a falsely excited voice? At least after the lessons of
last year,
Elaine and I went to sleep with ear-plugs in so the initial set-up didn't wake us up a 7 o'clock. Not that the ear-plugs wouldn't have happened anyway, what with last night's Canucks game going into triple-overtime, the hockey-yahoos were honking their horns until well after 2 am. *sigh*
