Today we've been asked to move everything out of the room with the great gaping holes from the fire escape. It took three hours to move my desk three feet when this started. My Sunday is shot. Not to mention the reason we have an apartment this large is because we need the space. There is no place to put the contents of this room other than in the living room, so there goes half the living room. The repairs are supposed to take two weeks. Not likely the way everything else has gone to date.

Given this latest inconvenience on top of all the other shit that has happened to date, I am asking to have a month's rent refunded. I'm tired and I'm pissed off.

You have every right to be pissed off. I would be too. I was actually thinking of posting before and after pictures of my place and then poking fun at how my restoration and painting and fixing up probably got done faster than yours, which would *almost* be funny, is a really sad way.

that is shitty...and way beyond reason...stick it to the man...they should be looking to the restoration company to pay for the rents of those affected...
