Didja know Adam West was totally pissed he didn't get the part for the Tim Burton Batman?

From what I remember Adam West had some critical comments about the costume, pointing out that when he was Batman it was real muscles under the tights, not molded body armour made to look like muscles.

he said that on the simpsons too...well the adam west character said it, then added "pure west"...then homer and the kids slowly backed away...ha ha...

My favourite utility-belt item from the T.V. show was the "Bat Pea-Soup Thermos" that was pulled out to take a sample of a clue left by the Riddler.

but if it was specifically for pea soup how did it hold the clue??? or was the clue pea soup based???

The clue was actually a big bowl of pea-soup. And not only was the thermos specifically marked "Bat Pea-Soup Thermos", not just "Bat Thermos", it was positively huge so that you could clearly read the text when he pulled it out from behind his back as if it were something that was always on the utility belt.

that is certainly a very specific thermos...thankfully they now make utility ones, which would seem more useful for a utility belt...

LOL
