I learned to type as soon as I got to highschool - my teachers wouldn't mark my handwritten papers. I've actually had people enquire if my handwriting is in English... and of course it's always embarrasing those times when I can't read it myself.
I was also asked to mouth the words in the highschool musical... but there's no need to go into that teenage trauma...
