Logic Puzzle
Sep. 8th, 2004 04:31 pmI met with not the landlord, but the landlord's partner and head contractor and ended arguing over the building code. Ever argued building codes with a Scottish contractor with 30+ years experience who happens to be wrong? There is just no way for that to go well.
This blasted window thing is not over yet. I'm angry and frustrated.

Well, you could always start making "English" references to him? Such as "well, that might have gone over well where you are from in England, but not here..." that's always gone over popular with the frequent arguments I've had with Scottish people - heh heh being English myself, I never tire of cease taunting the Scots.
"Are you making that accent up - or are you just retarded?" is another crowd pleaser.

"No, you've been wrong for thrity years."
I can't believe that came out of my mouth without hesitation.
