I'm listening to a CD of cylinder recordings from 1892 through 1911 that I downloaded from a site someone in the [livejournal.com profile] earlycentury community recommended to me. I've also been busy resampling streaming audio of 1920's Jazz recorded from 78's into wave files I can burn to CD. That's a bit of a slow process because the streams have to be resampled real-time and the software I'm using is having trouble seeing the end-of-file so I have to manually crop a bunch of "dead-air" off the end of the resulting files. It'll be worth it for all the great music I'll end up with, though.

Oh, MAN!

That's hilarious and terrible all at once. The guy must have felt like such a tit.

I know ... it was funny, but super sad at the same time! I felt so bad for the guy.
