I was just looking at census numbers for New York City and the count estimates for the march against the Republicans during their convention. The number of people on the street in protest amounted to roughly the same as every single 20 to 60 year old on the island of Manhattan. In terms of the whole city, roughly one in ten adults came out. This is the city that was actually attacked coming out against Bush and the Republicans. The city that saw its tallest towers crumble and fall sees this president as more dangerous to them than those he claims to be defending them from. Think about it.

And if you are American, think about it very hard before you vote next month.
