Depressing

All of Jake's art is coming down off the walls today. E. J.  Huges, Emily Carr, Christopher Pratt, Gathie Faulk, and many others.

Quothe my post after my first interview for this job:

The office itself gets huge bonus points from me for a.) not being a cubicle farm, and b.) having lots of good art hanging all over. Not corporate schlock, but actually good stuff, some by people I know - and I don't mean people I know of but actual local artists that I have met and talked to. What's even more cool about that is the art is the CEO's personal collection... gave me a very good feeling about the company as a whole.

And now it is all being packed up and carted away. There is nothing left except spot lights shining on empty hooks and dust outlines of where the art used to be. It looks awful. It's depressing.
