Budget

The federal government today announced a substantial increace in military spending over the next five years. I wonder if waiting for this budget has anything to do with the delay in hearing back about the job I applied for with the DND? It's been four weeks now since the posting closed and I haven't heard anything back one way or the other. If it is the case that they were waiting for the budget, then this could be good news.

that is often part of it...they still would contact you one way or another...even if you are screened out...you could always call them if you are curious, there should be a contact name and number on the competition...but often the government starts things then realizes they don't have the money and have to wait for the new fiscal year...fun, fun, fun!!!

How about instead of increasing our military budget - we increase education funding to the middle east specifically on Geography...
so that all the people in the middle east know exactly where
the US stops and Canada starts....
