To be honest, I didn't even connect the "Celtic Festivus Observance" or whatever it was called to St. Patrick's. I don't have a drop of Irish in me (until you go back about six generations), but I haven't exactly felt that my Scottish dignity and traditions were being ignored or defamed via the public display of shamrocks, or even the disgusting combination of piss-brew and green dye.

In any case, I'm more than happy with The Pogues and Harp tonight. I won't feel left out if I don't hear any McKenzies or guzzle any Fraoch. ;)

I'm at work, but I have no problem seeing other peoples photographs or art on LJ.

The pictures aren't stored on LJ, they are on my server.

If no to all, then your work has my IP blocked. If you can get at some but not others then they have me blocked by name. Which ever it is, I'd like to know.

From your work, or now? You are at a different IP now. Can you see the pictures at home? It doesn't make sense to me that you should be able to get to the website, but not see the pictures when they are embedded in LJ. What browser do you use at work?

If all this is a pain just let me know and I won't bug you about it, but I would like to understand what's going on here.

Heh no. I can view it at home but not at work. They use microsoft, so I don't think there would be a problem.. Maybe they just weren't downloading or something.

It could be a content filtering thing at your work. The nightclub content on Gothic.bc.ca seems to be getting me blocked in some content filters, probably a result of the negative press the site got a few months ago. It's damned annoying, but kind of flattering as well. Sort of on par with having your artwork stolen.
