To be honest, I didn't even connect the "Celtic Festivus Observance" or whatever it was called to St. Patrick's. I don't have a drop of Irish in me (until you go back about six generations), but I haven't exactly felt that my Scottish dignity and traditions were being ignored or defamed via the public display of shamrocks, or even the disgusting combination of piss-brew and green dye.
In any case, I'm more than happy with The Pogues and Harp tonight. I won't feel left out if I don't hear any McKenzies or guzzle any Fraoch. ;)
