I just got chased out of the building housing the British Consulate (Melville and Thurlow) because of a bomb threat, walked past an Afghanistan war protest beside work (Georgia and Thurlow) and through the remains of a car-crash on the way home (Georgia and Bute).

The protest and crash wouldn't have been worth mentioning even in conjunction. Walking through a bomb-squad, protest, and crash all on the block I live in the space of a few mintues was notably unusual, though.
