When working regular hours like I am right now, Thursday is the worst day of the week. I habitually short myself on sleep during the week, and by Wednesday it starts to catch up with me. By Thursday I am exhausted.
in our office even if you are part-time you can work compressed...there are people who work 4 - 8.5 hour days...so instead of working 375 hours per week they work 34...and since part-timers get a pay in lieu of stat holidays (they aren't paid for stats) of 4.23% on all hours paid they make very little less than us full-timers...unfortunately my boss says only so many people can work part-time...i think she's full of shit and might challenge her...especially since i've heard the lady on adoption/parental leave wants to come back part-time...and when i was supervisor i asked and was turned down...they always use operational requirements as their reasoning...but that doesn't fly unless they can prove they need only me to do the job...and i can do my work and more in 34 hours per week...
