Well, no, but I admit to being guilty of playing around with those bars in ACDSee and Photoshop -- not to make bad photos good, but to see what effects I can some up with.
Some of the results I'd even be willing to show. I wouldn't consider them photographs (good or bad) at this point, though. :)
There is nothing wrong with using photo editing software. What I am on about here are the people who thing destaturating a bad photo to make it black and white and therefore "art". It happens at lot in the photography communities.
