It's all about nailing the clouds. I remember the first photo I took that worked out after I got a polarising filter for my 35mm and had figured out how to use it. It wAs just a picture of a house but having in-focus fluffy clouds looming larger than life in the top half of the frame quintupled the impact of the picture!

Your stuff is just getting more and more impressive, my friend! Nice work!

If you ignore the water it almost looks like a processed picture of the playa in the Black Rock desert, Nevada (of Burning Man fame).
