After several months of near aneurysm-inducing bureaucratic nonsense and leaping through union-mandated flaming hoops I've almost got what I wanted out of this job. The official posting for my revised, three days a week, job was posted this afternoon. I'll be "applying" for the position tomorow.

The union rules demand the position be posted for seven days, so I'll have one more week at my current wage and hours. Fortunately it is a short week anyway.

I won't be announcing my renewed availability to my former clients until everything is signed and official, thought. This whole process has been such a pain in the ass that I'm not counting on anything until all the i's are dotted and t's crossed.

Congrats! I sooo wish I had a three day week, even if it meant a reduced wage.
