May. 5th, 2011 01:23 pmIn 2007 the city of São Paulo, Brazil enacted an utterly amazing ban on outdoor advertising as "visual pollution." The ban has the support of over 70% of the populace and locals say that the city feels more serene and livable. Photographer Tony de Marco has been documenting this outstanding transformation of a city that put the well-being of its citizens ahead of those of corporations.
