mbarrickI was late for work this morning. Normally that doesn't matter much but on Thursdays we have our "team meeting" (yay, team! 
) so my tardiness was very noticable. In these meetings we all rattle off what we have been doing for the last week, then for theoretically unrelated reasons we also type out everything we've been working on for the last week and mail it to our bosses, who also attend the Thurday meeting. It's it completely redundant. If we all cc'd eachother on the "status report" e-mails we wouldn't need the meeting. But that's OK, because meetings kill time and I'm happy to be paid for doodling. But from an efficiency standpoint it makes no sense. My appreciation of Dilbert cartoons is growing be leaps and bounds.
