I live on a mountain

I woke up to a significant dump of snow this morning. Down here at sea level it was just slushy "thick" rain, but up where home is now it was fluffy snow. I really like snow. It was fun waiting for the bus listening to the sound of the snow on my umbrella. I have, however, been influenced by Ivana's kids... all I could think while standing in the snow was:

The more it snows

The more it goes

On snowing

And no one knows

How cold my toes

Are growing.

i'm so jealous- i love snow but the east coast has been rather soggy so far this winter. i live at a moderately high elevation- so we get some spectacular ice storms- but those aren't the best for going out in. :}
