I had 60 downloads from the photogallery yesterday - that's new record. It wasn't the busiest day ever traffic-wise, about 240 MB transferred. My best (or worst, if you look at it from the point of view of paying for the bandwidth) day traffic-wise was about 360 MB transferred from Gothc BC (not a total for the server, there's generally another 75 to 100 MB traffic from the other sites I host) . Fortunately Telus doesn't seem to monitor bandwidth on commercial accounts that closely because I'm routinely a gigabyte or more over my upload allocation just on the website traffic - add mail, remote access, and all the other things I do on top of that...

There is an accident in Stanley Park and traffic has been backed up for hours. I'm so glad I'm not living on the North Shore anymore.

You are "Cuts You Up"

Wise to the way the world works, you are definately
not naive...Perhaps you have been burned in the
past, but a recent person or event gives you
hope.

Which Peter Murphy song are you?

The asbestos shack has been gone for a while. New wiring has been run to all the apartments now and they have begun to work on the new ceiling. Note the exit sign hanging by wires. It's just so "Blade-Runner".

A closer look at some of the hanging wires to be hidden by the new ceiling.

The view from the other direction. The dusty path on the floor is because that apartment is having all of the plaster ripped out because of water damage and being completely rewired in the process. The big black cable is the new main feeding into the breaker-box.

The third floor hallway, which is a little further along than our hall. I'm looking forward to the old red carpet being ripped out.

The stairwell between the second and third floors, currently sans plaster.

Going in for a closer look at the gap between floors.

Certainly looks like somewhere six-inch tall people could live...
