Americans from coast to coast (and in Alaska and Hawaii, too!) can all rest easier, safe in the knowledge that the internationally dreaded ( Red-State Ninja of Alabama ) is protecting the heartland. Fear his pudgy trailer-park powers.
And remember kids, be sure to lick your sword clean after smiting those Evil-Doers.
Brought to you by the miracle of latest.bml, the letter "zee", and McDonald's.
For the last 3½ years this has been my office. I was able to have meetings here. The black credenza is (was) filled with files pertaining to the industry-leading web site I maintained and the new one I developed (that missed going live by a week because of the hostile take-over).
And, as of yesterday, this is my new home. As far as cubicles go, it isn't a bad one.
There is a sufficiently large wall nearby to hang my painting so it doesn't have to go back into storage right away.
And I have a decent view down to Robson and Thurlow. I don't really like having my back to the aisle, but all-in-all...
...it blows the doors off the truly vile little veal-fattening pen I was stuck in back in 2001.
Those that have been watching my journal for any length of time have seen this view before. I reshot it again yesterday using my new polarizing filter (thus the wonderful deep blue in the sky). The other thing that makes this image different from the others is this one was shot as several images with my Big Black Camera of Doom™, which is an 8 megapixel camera. This image at full resolution is in the neighbourhood of 20 megapixels. This could be output as 60" x 30" photographic print with no degradation.
Sometime before my job is done and I lose access to this view, I'm going to have to do some night shots.
