Am I a reptoid? Or just a turkey?

In the light of my latest bout of "special stupidity" it occured to me that perhaps there might be a completely spurious pseudo-scientific New Age flakey bullshit rational explaination for my eating habits. Now let's consider the evidence, shall we?

1. Ability to go long periods without eating - just like a SNAKE or LIZARD
2. CENTURIES OLD connections with ROYALTY and KNOWN REPTOIDS - one of my ancestors, Cornelis Huysmans was a court painter for KING CHARLES I of England, an ancestor of QUEEN ELIZABETH who, as we all know, is a KNOWN REPTOID.
3. Connections with international banking - e.g. my grandfather (incidentally married to Maria Josepha Stephanalia CORNELIA HUYSMANS - nice little connection there!) was the chief accountant for a bank that was FOUNDED by the MEDICI. Need I mention how INEXTRICABLY linked the Medici family is with EUROPEAN ROYALTY? Not to mention my own past employment with the ROYAL BANK, HSBC (the largest bank in the world), and others.

Reptoid or turkey, one thing is for certain - I'm bound to taste like chicken either way.

I wined and dined at their castle in the Chianti region since they owned the land where the Etruscan city-site was that we excavated (Archaeology field school - Florida State University 1990), and as customary politeness, they invited our field crew over to the castle each year for pizza dinner. LOL

That'd be the Medici family I'm referring to. Their ancestors created modern banking. Originally their "banks" were benches set up in the marketplace ("banco" is Italian for bench) where they would loan money based on collateral. Very much like pawn shops still do. In fact the Medici family symbol is three golden orbs. Take a look the next time you pass a pawn shop - chances are there will be three yellow or gold circles in a triangle formation on the sign somewhere.

Florence is where the family originates from. Basically they are the most wildly successful "mafia" family of all time. At their beginnings they started out with a small-time pawn-shop/loan-sharking operation as described above. They moved into extorting "protection money" from the locals. Eventually they became more powerful than the "legitimate" government in Florence. Their "thugs" became the de facto police, the "protection money" the de facto taxes. In time they were simply recognised *as* the civic government, at which point they started marrying into the power structure in Italy in infiltrating the Church. Before long members of the Medici family were being appointed Pope, and they had married into the Royal families of Saxony, Spain, Austria, France, etc. There is a very famous cycle of allegorical paintings of the queen of France (done primarily for propaganda purposes) done by another (more distant) relative of mine, Peter Paul Rubens. That queen's name was Maria Di Medici. The painting are known as the Medici Cycle.

And as far as "sharing with Reptard" - the post wasn't friends-only. So... done!
